« A client's confidence is the essence of our profession: it must be honored with honesty and competence, the two core values of our judicial system »
Lawyer Marc-André Bédard

The law firm Gauthier Bédard was founded in 1932. Fifty years later, after the appointment of several of its associates to the judge's bench, four intrepid young lawyers - Jean-Baptiste Gauthier, Pierre Mazurette, Alain Ouellet, and Estelle Tremblay combine their energy and drive to propel and position Gauthier Bédard as one of the leading law firms in the Saguenay–Lac Saint-Jean region. In 1990, after acting as Justice Minister and Deputy Premier of Quebec, Marc-André Bédard joined the firm, adding his high profile and valuable experience to the roster. The firm still counts on its eminent litigants, while benefiting from the experience of other talented lawyers, who contribute to and ensure the quality of the legal services offered by the firm since its founding. Gauthier Bédard is composed of several teams which offer specialized services in commercial law, labour law, administrative law, civil law, and family law. These teams interact under one roof to offer a full range of legal services to our clientele.

Over the years, we have built a clientele from Quebec, and across Canada, the United States, and Europe, that has demonstrated unwavering faith in our firm. Several of our lawyers have litigated important trials, and have established precedents in Quebec and Canadian jurisprudence. The firm offers legal services in both English and French.

The firm of Gauthier Bédard, S.E.N.C.R.L. boasts a team of talented lawyers, all strategic, pragmatic, solution-oriented professionals who thrive in a highly competitive environment.

Our commitment to you: WE'RE WITH YOU.
