Admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1977, Estelle Tremblay specializes in commercial and tax law disputes, bankruptcy and insolvency litigation, and business law litigation. Ms. Tremblay has developed solid expertise in the field of agricultural and food markets in Quebec. She is also known for her work concerning the fees received by doctors with Quebec's health insurance board (RAMQ). Her work and her qualities as a lawyer were recognized in Health Magazine, mailed to all physicians and residents of Quebec in March 2007 (www.sante.com), in an article entitled "In Her Office, She Prescribes the Remedies. Ms. Estelle Tremblay: An Asset to the Quebec Medical Community,"

Ms. Tremblay has litigated cases nationwide, contributing to the establishment of more than thirty Canadian and Quebec precedents in areas as diverse as professional law, penal and criminal law, tax law, and insolvency and bankruptcy law. Ms. Tremblay works hard to find solutions to the various problems submitted by her clients.

Ms. Tremblay has also negotiated a number of complex commercial cases involving such matters as the transport of milk in the province of Quebec, the remuneration of real estate agents affiliated with leading firm Le Permanent, as well as commercial franchising.

Since 2012 Ms. Tremblay has served as attorney for the Parti Québécois, notably as part of the Commission of Inquiry on the Awarding and Management of Public Contracts in the Construction Industry (the Charbonneau Commission).

On November 5, 2012, the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean Bar awarded Estelle Tremblay the Michael H. Cain Medal of Merit.
